These days I am a Queenslander on the Gold Coast, but I still manage to get back to the Victorian high Country once or twice a year to hunt Sambar. It wasn't long after I got to Queensland before I hit the ground running with a few Fallow deer hitting the deck and making a dent in the North's feral hog population.

New Zealand offered up some great Roaring Reds during the rut of 2008 and wild feral Sth Pacific Turkeys and Arapawa Rams along with an introduction to America was one of the greatest adventures undertaken over the past years with some of the best hunting and hammer dropping experiences. 2012 I returned to New Zealand taking a world record Red Stag with my muzzle loader later that year - later that year I found myself in Namibia Hunting plains game and taking a record warthog with my Mathews bow. In 2013 the muzzle loader dropped a record book Fallow Buck in Australia. I love taking photos and opportunities to take Big Game and harvest meat, antlers, just never gets old. I bet you know exactly what I’m talkin’ about.

Of late the time has been spent writing outdoor stories both domestic and international for hunting magazines such as Dangerous Game Hunter" , Texas Trophy hunter and furthering my career in marketing website-SEO designer for Outfitter/guiding business with AussieJohn Video-Youtube productions. I also represent Outfitters both domestic and international at Hunting Shows, Expo's and website creations...and hunting at every opportunity!

I am happy to consider trading hunts for my services

Welcome to my world of hunting and adventures...

My story began 40 years ago as a young man in Nth East Victoria Australia, hunting ducks on the mighty Murray River. It was a great part of my life for many years. Locations like, The Wonnangatta Valley, The Humphrey River Watershed, Buffalo River and the Buckland Valley were wild bush destinations.

I cut my teeth on the magnificent Sambar deer. Back in those days there were no crowds or tarred roads. Just a heck of a lot of places for a young fella to hunt in the High Country practically every weekend as also I owned and operated a very successful 4 Wheel Drive Accessories and Outdoor business on the border of N.S.W. and Victoria, so the bush was really my home away from home!

During the 80's 2-3 mates and I would regularly back pack in to the Humphrey river for 10 days of unspoilt wilderness and pristine trout fishing in the mountain streams and creeks. In fact our backpacking shelter/hut still stands today 30 years later in the Humphrey River somehow surviving many bush-fires

During the 90's I was operating my 4 Wheel Drive High Country Tour Business and appeared on the Great Outdoors National Television program and bowled over quite a few prestigious State Tourism Awards.

In the early 2000 I taught and educated Tourism Students with a Diploma in Tour Guiding, Tourism Marketing and Product Development.
